Love apples? Then, drink apples! Gather with fellow apple enthusiasts, hard cider aficionados, fermentation zealots, and craft beverage fanatics at The Navy Yard in Philadelphia for the sixth annual Pour The Core: Philly.

At Pour The Core: Philly, you and your friends will be surrounded by the picturesque fall backdrop of the Marine Parade Grounds and be showcased to the finest locally-produced and internationally-sourced ciders – more than 100 to sample! The event will feature local favorites, regional brands, top-selling ciders and a variety of imported ciders and perries from Spain, England and elsewhere will round out the varieties offered, such as Strongbow.

So get your blanket or lawn chair ready to stake your spot in the field. Carry your sunglasses and hat for protection from the sun... check the weather for what to wear and get your tickets. The event will take place rain or shine (no refunds). Don’t forget to bring a belly ready for delicious foods available to purchase from local Philly food trucks.

There will be special seminars about cider, the making of cider, and the enjoyment of cider. The event will also help raise funds for the Committee to Benefit the Children (CBC). Visit the charity page to find out more about this great organization.

Parking is limited. Complimentary shuttle bus service will be provided for festival attendees from the Broad & Pattison SEPTA Station to the event. The Navy Yard is located about 100 yards off exits from I-95 or I-76.



A sell-out is expected so buy your tickets early! Once the event sells out, no additional tickets will be available.

VIP runs from 12:30pm - 1:30pm and GA runs from 1:30pm - 5:00pm.

VIP tickets are $60 +tax/fees and general admission (GA) tickets are $45 +tax/fees when purchased online. If tickets still remain, VIP tickets will be $75 and GA tickets will be $55 on event day. Ticket purchased at the door must be paid for in cash. GA ticketholders will receive a 5-ounce tasting cup and access to 2-ounce samples of any available cider in the main tent plus free festival seminars. VIP attendees receive a glass tasting cup, exclusive VIP seating area access (with tent covering), special cider tastings, exclusive VIP restrooms, and an additional hour in the event from 1:30-2:30pm, in addition to 2-ounce samples of any available cider.

Designated driver (DD) tickets are also available. GA designated driver tickets are $12 +tax/fees but VIP designated drivers are $15 +tax/fees. VIP DD ticketholders receive an extra hour in the event and access to VIP seating. No DD is permitted to drink any alcohol. DDs do not receive a tasting cup but will receive bottled water. Any DD seen drinking will be removed from the festival immediately. DDs, like all attendees, must be 21+ and present valid photo ID for entry.

Everyone who purchases a ticket will get in. No tickets will be sold once the event sells out. We have limited the number of attendees to ensure that everyone who purchases a ticket will be able to sample the ciders they want and move around with ease. There will be plenty of water and food available for purchase.

No one under the age of 21 will be allowed into the event. This includes designated drivers who must also be 21 years or older in age. No children, toddlers, infants, strollers, or pets are permitted.

No one will be admitted without valid photo ID (no exceptions)! Proper identification is the responsibility of the attendee. Failure to present proper, valid photo identification (license or passport) will result in denial of entry with no refund offered.
