Volunteer

Volunteers are needed for setting up the event, registration, directing people inside the festival, handing out cups, delivering ice, and clean up. Volunteer duties will be assigned at the festival at the Volunteer Registration Table upon check in. All volunteers must be 21+.

All volunteers receive a free t-shirt and a food voucher.

There are several shifts available for volunteers on Friday, February 2, 2018:

Shift #1 runs from 4:30pm to 9:30pm. (volunteers of this shift will be given access to the event after their shift)

Shift #2 runs from 6:00pm to 11:00pm. (volunteers of this shift will be given tickets to an upcoming Philly event, produced by Starfish Junction)

Street Team:
We need to spread the word about Pour the Core: Baltimore and need volunteers who are able to distribute promotional cards and posters about the festival in new neighborhoods. If you sign up to be a “Street Team” volunteer we will send you materials to distribute around your community – your workplace, cafes, churches, libraries, restaurants, convenience stores, etc. (anywhere that people will see them). There is no time requirement and distribution activities can be completed whenever and wherever is convenient to you. However, “Street Team” volunteers can earn tickets to the festival for their efforts based on the number of locations materials are distributed at.

Photographers:
Sometimes the best pictures and stories are caught by our volunteers and attendees at the festival. Therefore, we need some volunteer photographers to help us capture great festival moments. If you sign up to be a “volunteer photographer,” we ask that you arrive and stay throughout the day to photograph the event. We’re looking for photographers with a different view that will capture our attendees, volunteers, exhibitors, programs, products, etc. We ask that all photographers send us a DVD/CD of the photos they have taken within a week of the event taking place. Volunteer photographers will be given a ticket to an upcoming Philly event produced by Starfish Junction.
