WHEN IS THE EVENT?

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT TO GET INTO THE FESTIVAL?

No one under the age of 21 will be allowed entrance in the festival! This includes designated drivers who must also be at least 21 years of age. NO children, toddlers, infants, strollers, or pets are permitted. No one will be admitted without a valid photo ID (no exceptions). Proper identification is the responsibility of the attendee. Failure to present proper, valid photo identification (driver’s license or passport) will result in denial of entry with no refund offered.

WHERE DOES THE EVENT TAKE PLACE?

The event will be taking place at Cortlandt Waterfront Park located at 77 Riverview Avenue, Verplanck, NY 10596.

IS THE EVENT INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

The festival is an outdoor event held under tents and will take place rain or shine (no refunds).

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

The event is rain or shine. Please plan accordingly for the weather. If there is an emergency situation, please check the event website, Facebook page and email.

WHAT DOES GENERAL ADMISSION INCLUDE?

Each paid general admission includes a tasting cup and the freedom to enjoy samples from any participating cidery. All attendees also have the opportunity to enter the Apple Pie Eating Contest, play games, and access to the food trucks and participating exhibitors.

WHAT IS YOUR SAFETY PLAN?

Due to the ever-changing circumstances surrounding COVID-19, the event status and admission requirements are subject to change. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people gather. In an effort to provide the safest live experience for all, we will monitor CDC recommendations as the event date draws near.

As an event attendee you will need to accept all risk and adhere to the published rules in order to attend the festival on event day. You assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting a communicable disease or illness—including, without limitation, exposure to COVID-19 or any other bacteria, virus, or other pathogen capable of causing a communicable disease or illness, whether that exposure occurs before, during, or after the event, and regardless of how caused or contracted—and you hereby waive any and all claims and potential claims against Starfish Junction Productions, LLC, its partners, its sponsors, and venue hosts.

WHAT IS THE ENTRANCE FEE FOR DESIGNATED DRIVERS?

A GA designated driver ticket is $12. All designated drivers receive bottled water. However, designated drivers are not permitted to sample any alcoholic beverages at the festival and do not receive a cup. Any designated driver who is seen drinking at the festival will be escorted out immediately. Designated drivers must be 21+ and present valid photo ID for entry.

WILL FOOD BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE?

Yes, food is available for purchase. It is not included in the price of admission.

ARE CHILDREN OR PETS PERMITTED TO ATTEND?

NO children, toddlers, infants, strollers or pets (unless they are service animals with accredited tags/paperwork on hand) are permitted into the festival.

IS SMOKING PERMITTED AT THE FESTIVAL?

Smoking will not be permitted under the tents, this includes vape pens and e-cigs.

CAN I BRING BLANKETS OR LAWN CHAIRS TO THE FESTIVAL?

Yes, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted in the festival area.

CAN I BRING OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGE TO THE FESTIVAL?

No outside food or beverages will be permitted.

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE? IS THERE A FEE TO PARK?

There is no on-site parking for the event but festival parking has been arranged off-site with free shuttle bus service to the event. Festival parking is located at the Metro-North Cortlandt Station (2 Memorial Drive, Cortlandt Manor, NY 10566). If utilizing festival parking, please follow parking signs and attendants to park in designated areas at Cortlandt Station and find the free shuttle bus pick-up spot. There is no fee to park on Saturday and Sunday. The shuttle bus to the event is complimentary.

IS THERE BUS TRANSPORTATION TO THE EVENT?

There is free shuttle bus service from designated festival parking at the Metro-North Cortlandt Station and the event.

DO DESIGNATED DRIVERS NEED TO BE 21?

YES. No one under 21 will be admitted into the festival. Designated drivers, like everyone else, must show valid photo ID before being admitted into the festival.

IS THERE A HOTEL IN THE AREA?

Yes, the nearest hotel is the Holiday inn Express & Suites Peekskill-Lower Hudson Valley located at:

I BOUGHT A TICKET AND NOW I CAN'T FIND IT/CAN'T PRINT IT, WHAT DO I DO?

FOR TICKET HOLDERS ONLY: If you purchased your ticket(s) on the event website via Eventbrite and are in need of customer service regarding your ticket purchase, please visit eventbrite.com/support/contact-us for assistance.

IS THE EVENT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Yes, there is also a special handicapped parking area, however, the venue does not provide wheelchairs or walkers. Please remember the event takes place on grass though and may be difficult to navigate with a wheelchair or walker.

CAN I BRING A BAG?

Yes, but bags are subject to search by security. No weapons of any kind. No outside food and beverage.

WHAT ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED?

Starfish Junction Productions is dedicated to the safety and security of ALL attendees, exhibitors, staffers, and guests. Please use common sense and remember that what seems harmless to you may appear like a threat to someone else. All attendees must adhere to show rules, are subject to search upon entering the event, and are prohibited from bringing in the following items:

· outside alcohol, glass bottles, cans, outside food/beverages, metal water bottles
· weapons (i.e. knives, pepper spray, stun-guns, any concealed weapons, firearms, etc.), illegal drugs, chemicals, fireworks, smoke bombs
· unapproved pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, etc.

Event management reserves the right to handle each occurrence on a case by case basis. Depending on the item, the guest may either be asked to remove the item from the facility or dispose of the item, or may be ejected from the facility.

CAN I TAKE UBER/LYFT TO AND FROM THE EVENT?

Yes. Rideshare companies such as Lyft/Uber do operate in the area but are limited. They should adhere to signs directing people to the drop-off and pick-up locations near the event.

CAN I LEAVE MY CAR OVERNIGHT?

Cars can be left overnight in the designated festival parking areas of the Metro-North Cortlandt Station but Metro-North, the Town of Cortlandt, Starfish Junction and its associated entities, agents and staff are not responsible for any loss, theft or the like that may occur.

WHAT TAXI COMPANIES SERVICE THIS AREA?

There are several taxi companies that service the area but Bynum Taxi is the recommended service by Metro-North servicing Cortlandt Station. They can be reached at 914-737-3753.

ARE PHOTOS TAKEN AT THIS EVENT?

Yes, look out for our event photographer at the event and strike a pose. Check back here, at the event website, and/or on the event's Facebook page for photos after the event to see if you are included in the event photo album. Some photos of attendees may be used for promotional purposes; as a ticketholder of the event, you grant us permission to do so and for your likeness to be used.
